Simply Crochet Issue 18 Wedding Feature

Such a delight for HanJan this month – I have a feature in Simply Crochet about our wedding!

It all came about after we decided to ‘yarn bomb’ our wedding and of course the lovely team at Simply were intrigued to say the least….. I sent over some pics and soon enough a feature was planned!

It is a fabulous write up not only of the items that I made for the wedding which included bouquets, buttonholes, corsages, table lace, jar lace, cake lace, bunting, invitations, order of services, menus, and much more, but also of the process and practicalities of it all.

The photos are from our professional photographer on the day – the wonderful Tom Smith who captured every moment so well.

I am in the process of writing some tutorials about the items I made as so many people have already asked for the patterns! I’m not sure if I will completely reveal my bouquet as love the idea of having something completely unique.

Here are some sneaky little snippets from the article but be sure to grab your own copy to see what it’s all about!

Along with the feature I have some cute patterns in this months issue – I designed some gorgeous bows that use all sorts of different yarns to accessorise just about anything…

I also made a coaster and placemat and some potholders for the Gingham Granny kitchen story which is a real triumph – great projects all round!

Busy busy in the world of HanJan…we are also working on a swish new website to be with you soon…will let you know as soon as it’s ready!
