The Colour Block Jumper – Free Crochet Pattern

Garment making can seem so very daunting but this simple and fun jumper is just the thing to get you going and boost your confidence. With box set sleeves, a beautifully textured stitch and cuff detail, you’ll love wearing it as much as making it.

The jumper is designed to be oversized and effortless to wear with a neckline that you can adapt to suit yourself. Just join a few more or less stitches depending on how you’d like it to sit across your shoulders. The pattern comes in the following four sizes: S (UK 8-10), M (UK 12-14), L (UK 16-18), XL (UK 20-22).

The pattern comes in both standard UK and US crochet terms to make life easier for you too.

Yarn

I used Drops Air to create my jumper but for a list of alternative yarns check out here.

The yarn is: 21% polyamide, 7% wool, 72% Alpaca and 50g/150m.

The colours I used were Medium Grey, Rose and Light Grey Green.

You will need the following quantities of yarn for each size:

Sizing and Tension

The measurements for the four sizes are as follows. Just make sure you check your tension before you start and you’ll be fine.
