The Event

The Pattern Collection

Now it’s time to introduce you to each of the patterns!

We had a blast with our last colorwork event, we just had to come back for more.

This time we are focusing on unique crochet stitches. Whether you’ve tried these stitches before or not, it will be fun to whip up some new cozy wearables.

We hope that they will either introduce you to new crochet techniques or help you brush up on existing ones too.

We know this time of year can start to feel a little drab. Many of us are hibernating and waiting for spring, so it’s time to keep cozy in style. We’ve got three designs to cover your head, hands, and feet.

All of the designs have a complete video tutorial for you to work along with to help you with every aspect of them.

Hannah (that’s me!) has designed the

HERRINGBONE MOSS STITCH MITTENS

Technique: Herringbone Moss

My mittens use the popular moss stitch but with a herringbone half double crochet and back loop twist!

Construction: Bottom Up

The band is made first in rows and then joined to work in rounds from the bottom up. The top is decreased and gathered then the thumb added to finish. They are also seamless too.

Customise: Stop wherever you like and work a closing round to make them fingerless!

Briana has designed the

KNIT PURL CROCHET STITCH SOCKS

Technique: Knit Purl Crochet

Worked in a unique stitch combination of split single crochets and back loop only single crochet this stitch is such fun!

Construction: Toe Up

These crochet socks use a fun stitch combination and are worked from toe-up. The heel is an ‘afterthought heel’ where we create an opening for the heel area and come back to work the heel last.

Customise: Briana has a whole host of ideas for you to make them your own!

Michelle has designed the

HERRINGBONE SINGLE CROCHET HAT

Technique: Herringbone Single

The Herringbone Single Crochet Stitch is an addicting and beautiful stitch that’s thick and cozy, making it perfect for this hat!

Construction: Side Across

Michelle’s hat is worked from the side across then slip stitched to join. The band is then worked in rows and joined as you go to the base of the hat. The top is decreased and gathered to close.

Customise: Michelle has added 2 options for the band for you to choose from!
